Purses are weird. And yes, I’m sucked into the same idea that I can’t leave the house without mine, but why? What’s so dang important?
2 – My eyes cannot function without sunglasses but when I want to go into a restaurant I really don’t want to be wearing them on my head. Someone might think I’m committing a fashion faux pas or something.
3 – The wallet is a given. Even men don’t leave this behind. I just don’t want to be sitting on mine.
4 – Lotion, floss and Neosporin – All hygiene products I use on a daily basis… like, say I went to a baseball game and ate popcorn and needed floss. Where would I be without my purse?
5 – Lip gloss, nail file, and oil absorbing sheets are strickly vanity. And I am a very vain person.
6 – The mirror is a toss up…. back to the whole vain thing, and then add in the hygiene again, what if I had broccoli stuck in my tooth and couldn’t see if I had reached it with the floss?
7 – My address book and pen could be left at home but I’d probably lose them there
8 – My ear plugs are invaluable. I’ve used them at Jazz games, the fireworks and the cabin. I have very sensitive ears, this is no negotiation.
What’s in your purse? (and let’s see a photo)

love to post a photo but I am camera shopping right now.. so I this is a little tricky when you have a diaper bag that doubles as a purse. I use that when I have Naomi but transfer essentials to my personal purse when going baby-less. The later would hold wallet- of course. Chapstick, I am an addict. Pen, I seem to always need one and have a favorite for each bag:) Sunglasses for sure. Oh, and of couse my cell phone. Talk about feeling naked, must have my phone.
One more thing, hand sanitizer.
Loved this post. I keep floss in my purse too. I fully intend to post the contents with a picture, someday when I get a minute to unload it.
love this idea for a post!
